West Penn Power Sustainable Energy Fund
The West Penn Power Sustainable Energy Fund (WPPSEF) invests in the deployment of clean energy technologies throughout the West Penn Power Service region in Pennsylvania. Investments are made to:
- Promote the use of renewable energy;
- Promote energy conservation and engergy efficiency; and
- Promote the attraction, establishment, and retention of sustainable energy businesses.
Results
- Invested over $8 million in financing and program development;
- Generated over $20 million in new business investment;
- Created Keystone H.E.L.P. Energy Star Appliance loan Program;
- Currently developing Pennsylvania Home Energy Program.
