The Small Business Development Center of Saint Vincent College will be holding an informational session centered on patents this month. The basics of patent laws, legal rights associated with patents, and different kinds of patents are just a few of the subjects to be covered at the event.

The West Penn Power Sustainable Energy Fund (WPPSEF) has organized a series of workshops in which community leaders will have the opportunity to discuss WPPSEF funding opportunities. The workshops will provide attendees with information on current funding opportunities following a presentation of WPPSEF’s past efforts and accomplishments.
The Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center in Latrobe will host one of these workshops on November 9, and will last from 9:00-10:00 am. To register, call Linda Rodkey at (724) 537-4572.
