Defense Procurement Assistance Center
The Defense Procurement Assistance Center (DPAC) is a program to create and retain jobs in the region by supporting the participation of regional businesses in the defense industry and related supply chains. DPAC works in collaboration with Regional Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC), local and regional economic development partners and service providers to connect area businesses to opportunities and assistance.
The Defense Procurement Assistance Center (DPAC) does this by:
- Building and maintaining a database that showcases the unique capabilities and rich talents that reside in area businesses
- Increasing the access of government contracting opportunities for area businesses
- Improving the readiness of businesses to pursue more government contracts
DPAC also provides assistance in the following areas:
- Financing strategies
- Site and building assistance
- Educational opportunities and technical assistance to help grow your business, including:
- Government contracting and procurement
- Process improvement
- Quality systems
- Training and workforce building strategies
- Bid Opportunities
- Access to military specifications and DoD adopted industry standards
- Access to the DPAC Defense Supplier Database
